PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE 1

  • As termite infestation tends to increase during monsoons, do a thorough check and ensure that the pests are kept at bay.
  • Repaint metal-framed windows with waterproof paint to prevent rusting.
  • Keep your wardrobe and shoe rack smelling fresh by placing silica gel sachets or installing a low-voltage bulb to combat dampness. Air out cupboards, carpets and rugs on those ‘luck-by-chance’ sunny days.
  • Your electronic gadgets need extra care during monsoons. Do not keep your devices in damp areas.  When not in use, remove batteries or unplug them. Use plastic covers or waterproof pouches for extra protection.
